Crisp autumn air and beautiful foliage are what people in Iowa think of this time of year. At Midwest Indoor Air Quality we are scheduling with schools to do their radon tests for the 2015-2016 school year. The new EPA protocol for school radon testing recommends that we test during the coldest months of the year. We have analyzed the outdoor temperature for several years and know that testing between November and March is the best time for Iowa. Of course we all know that, but ironically the outdoor air is not really that cold for a long period of time; it just seems that way in January and February! Is your school on our schedule? Call us (or your school administration) to find out!
